Before participating, we kindly ask that you review and agree to the terms below.
By signing this agreement, I agree to the following:
Role & Responsibilities:
I will carry out the tasks assigned to me in a responsible manner and to the best of my ability.
Code of Conduct:
I will respect fellow volunteers, staff, and community members and adhere to KTA’s values of inclusivity, respect, and collaboration.
Safety First:
I understand that safety is a top priority. I will follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by KTA staff and will report any hazards or concerns promptly.
Non-Employment Status:
I acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and does not create an employer-employee relationship.
By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk:
I understand that volunteering may involve physical activities, outdoor environments, and inherent risks. I accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, or property damage that may occur during my participation.
Release of Liability:
I release Kennett Trail Alliance, its staff, board members, and partners from any and all liability related to my volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Emergency Medical Treatment:
In case of emergency, I authorize KTA to seek medical treatment on my behalf and understand that I am responsible for any associated costs.
